#3 Manchester 26, #4 L.C. Bird 20: Can you believe it? A Hail Mary for the Skyhawks won their opener, while a Hail Mary by the Lancers knocked them off in their regular season finale. Manchester gets first 10-0 season in school history, projected to be 5A South Central Region number two seed, where they would face either Henrico or Douglas Freeman, depending on result of today's game between Henrico and Armstrong.

#7 Monacan 39, Cosby 14: The Chiefs are easily one of the feel-good stories of 2014. They'll host their first playoff game in 29 years next Friday, projected as the #3 seed in 4A South, with Smithfield coming to town. Meanwhile, Cosby goes 1-4 in the second half of their season to finish 6-4, and are tied for 5th in the 6A South Sub-Region with Patrick Henry-Roanoke. No matter what happens, the Titans will travel in round one.

James River 55, George Wythe 6: The Rapids finish 6-4 and, thanks to Highland Springs' win over Varina, earn the #8 and final seed in the 6A South Sub-Region. James River will have to travel to #1 C.D. Hylton in the first round, but despite the tough draw, the bottom line is the Rapids are IN the playoffs!

#5 Thomas Dale 41, Matoaca 14: After a 73-point performance last week beating Hopewell, the Warriors, who finish 4-6 run into a buzzsaw known as the Knights defense. After a poor start to the season in a loss to Cosby, then the Hail Mary loss to L.C. Bird, Thomas Dale has run the table, winners of eight straight. Eric Finney and company are projected as the #2 seed in 6A South, looks to host Riverbend in the first round next Friday night.

Dinwiddie 17, Meadowbrook 6: A disappointing loss for the Monarchs, who back into the 5A South Central playoffs at 5-5 and have the eighth and final seed no matter the outcome of Henrico/Armstrong Saturday afternoon. Meadowbrook will get a rematch with #1 Highland Springs in the first round. The Monarchs lost their home opener to the Springers September 12th 21-12.

Clover Hill 14, Huguenot 12: The Cavaliers score late to get the win to finish 3-7 on the season.
